The automatic processing line for processing the fourth generation high-temperature gas cooled reactor carbon reactor internals of boron carbon and graphite bricks, is one of the 16 major projects in the national 12th Five Year Plan. This automatic processing line can realize automatic processing of different shapes and structures of the 1830 kinds of components in the reactor (16 kinds of components, 1380 of the graphite, 36 kinds of components).

Rough machining to sawing milling, semi finishing milling based on the milling, finishing with boring milling. The whole production line host includes the following equipment: CNC sawing machine, CNC double end sleeve material machine tools, high-precision double-sided milling grinding machine and large horizontal boring and milling grinding combined machining center. On-line detection can be implemented in the process. In order to meet the requirements of rigidity and accuracy, all the guide rails are used in rectangular guide, and the feed axis adopts closed-loop control.

This automatic production line is the first one in the world, which is used for the processing equipment of carbon in high temperature gas cooled nuclear reactor.
